Europian big brands show their power in Milano.
Here is an internet point in Milano. I got a little cold, but I eat delicious food here in Milano, and very fine for my spirit.
I have never come here for one and a half year, so I am surprised to find some new stores. H&M made a new store near Duomo, Ferrari store. Inditex's Massimo Dutti in Galleria.Surprisingly, Rinascente, the department store which merged Le printemps in France, showed us exciting display, named ROCK. I guess that maybe Milano's economy, especially about fashion, is increasing now. I remenber the 2nd quarter's sales of Italian famous big brands were good.
I went to via Montenapoleone and via Spiga in this morning, there were beautiful displays in the show-windows. I have rarely come to milano in the autumn, the top season of fashion, so I am very fulfiled to see the best looks of the majer brands.
The high prices brands made simple shapes, for example,one body and one bag in one showcase. Dolce and Gabbana used their imaging pictures behind some bodies. Other brands produced beautiful objects to show their brand concepts. Everything is beautiful, everything is creative. Big brands have their own beautiful minds.
Many customers and visitors in Milano came and bought their clothings and handbags, in the cats ans dogs' rain. I bought Aspesi's baloon skirt, becauce it made an amaging display, moving bear. and Aspesi had some big origami animals from Japan in his store. He took big energy and much costs for VMD. We sometimes think to save operation costs of the stores, but if we would get best position of the fashion market, we would never save about it.
PS. I am very sorry to mistake many words' spells. And Rinascente did not merge Galeries Lafayette, but Le Printemps.(2006.10.23)
